We started HI because we could see a gap, and we were feeling it ourselves.

Both being career-minded women, our lives now demanded a different way of working. We were disappointed to find the lack of employment opportunities, despite the health and disability sector growing and needing skilled professionals.

Our passion for healthcare comes from our own experiences, both professionally and personally.

As we see our own parents age and, as mothers of children with ongoing health needs, we understand what it's like to be on the other side. From navigating specialists, to understanding complex care pathways and NDIS planning, we've been on the front lines ourselves. This shapes our drive to make healthcare better and more accessible for everyone.
